Our community is built around regular, practitioner-led gatherings. Everyone with an interest in Data Management is welcome — members and newcomers alike — whether you come to learn, to share your own experience, or simply to meet others doing this work.
Monthly Chapter Meeting
Each month the chapter meets online for an educational presentation, discussion of a Data Management topic, and networking with fellow practitioners. Sessions span the full breadth of Data Management — governance, quality, modelling, architecture, protection, analytics and more — and draw people from many industries and every level of experience. Meetings are announced and RSVP'd through our Meetup group and run on Microsoft Teams.

Data Protection for Data Management Professionals
Addresses the data protection responsibilities that sit within every organisation — increasingly important under POPIA. Current work includes a data protection ontology, a conceptual mind map, and dimensional models for reporting on data breaches and privacy impact assessments.
